Local search

Be found when customers search for your services in your area.

Local search optimization helps customers find your business on Google Maps and in nearby search results. It involves your Google Business Profile, what your website says about the area you serve and the reputation you build elsewhere. I work on all three as part of each website I deliver.

Rating, reviews, category, hours and address: customers see these before opening your website. These are my actual business details in France, and I apply the same care to your profile.
Google's local ranking factors
Relevance
How closely your business matches the search. The right profile category and clear descriptions of your services help Google understand what you do.
Distance
How far the customer is from your business. A website cannot change your real location; local pages should describe the places you actually serve.
Prominence
How well known your business is, including reviews, mentions, directories, articles and links. Building a real reputation takes time.
How I work

Six areas, in this order.

Straightforward work on the foundations of local visibility, with care and attention to your actual business.

No. 01

Your Google Business Profile

The right main category, a description of your services, actual opening hours, your service area and photos of your work. I make sure the basics are accurate and useful.

No. 02

Useful local pages

Pages for places you actually serve, with information specific to each location. Each page needs its own purpose and useful content rather than a changed city name.

No. 03

Content only you can provide

Your before-and-after job photos, the neighborhoods you serve and the practical details of your trade. Real information sets you apart from a generic website.

No. 04

A routine for customer reviews

A direct review link shared after a completed job, plus a routine for responding to feedback, including negative reviews. I use the same approach for my own business.

No. 05

Consistent contact details

The same business name, address and phone number on your website, profile and directories. Accurate details help customers and search engines identify your business.

No. 06

Measure what changes

Google Search Console connected at launch to see the searches that show your website and bring clicks. This makes it possible to check progress rather than guess.

These six areas are included with every website I deliver, starting at 900 €. Already have a website? The review is free: I look at what's missing with you. If you'd like me to make changes, I prepare a fixed-price quote within 48 hours based on the pages and the condition of your website.

The process

How we work together

Five clear steps, with one person responsible for your project from start to finish.

Step 01 30 min · free
Let's talk

A call to understand your business, your customers and what needs to change. You get an honest opinion, even if we do not work together.

Step 02 within 48 business hours
Your estimate

A fixed price in euros and a written scope. I spell out what is included, so you can decide with confidence.

Step 03 Timeline agreed in advance
Design & development

Design first, development next. You approve each stage, and I keep you updated throughout the project.

Step 04 24-72 h after content arrives
Launch

Your website goes live after checks on phones, tablets and desktops. Your domain and hosting accounts are in your name. The 24-72 h launch window applies to a standard business website once I receive your content.

Step 05 3 months included
Support

Adjustments, fixes and advice: I stay available after launch, with three months of support included.

Clear expectations

What you can expect from me.

Local visibility takes practical work. Here are four commitments that shape how I approach it.

No guaranteed first position

No provider controls Google's ranking, and results depend partly on the distance between you and the customer. I explain the work I can do and measure what changes.

No bulk city pages

I avoid large batches of nearly identical location pages. I work one useful page at a time, with information about the places your business actually serves.

No purchased links or fake reviews

Paid links intended to manipulate rankings and fake reviews put your visibility at risk. I focus on real customer feedback and credible mentions of your business.

A clear scope for ongoing work

If I work on your visibility over time, you know in advance what's being done and why. The work needs to go beyond an automatic report.

Changes to a Google Business Profile may become visible quickly on less competitive searches. Website search visibility usually takes weeks or months, depending on your area and services. I cannot promise a date. I can show you how impressions and clicks change in Search Console.

No. These six areas are included when I build your website, starting at 900 €. If someone else built your website, the review is still free. I look at your profile, pages and local competitors and explain what's missing. Any changes are quoted separately, based on the scope and condition of the website. You'll receive a fixed-price quote within 48 hours, or you can use my list to make the changes yourself.

Only where you actually work and have useful, specific information to share. A smaller set of well-developed local pages is more useful than many nearly identical ones. My page about Villeneuve-la-Garenne shows the level of local detail I aim for.

A profile can already bring calls. A website gives you a place you control to explain your services and show your work, while supporting the information on your profile.

Yes. I work remotely across France and offer remote projects for US businesses. My workshop is in Villeneuve-la-Garenne, France, but local visibility work can be handled through calls and screen sharing. To get started, read my guide: why a business might not appear on Google Maps. Your job photos and knowledge of your local area matter more than having me physically on site.

Your local visibility review is free.

A 30-minute conversation about your profile, website and local competitors. The list of what's missing is yours, whether or not you hire me for the next step.
