Terms and conditions
The essentials: a fixed price before work starts, full ownership of your website and support after delivery. The contractual details follow. This page translates the terms of a France-based business; French law references are preserved.

1. Purpose and scope
These terms govern services sold by Wail Saidani, a sole proprietor trading as DevDream (French SIRET registration number 840 285 464 00037, 92390 Villeneuve-la-Garenne): website creation, AI implementation and automation services, and online training. Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Estimates and orders
Each service has a free estimate, provided within 48 business hours and valid for 30 days. The estimate specifies what is included and excluded. The order becomes binding when I receive the accepted estimate and deposit. The quoted price remains fixed throughout the project. Any request outside the agreed scope receives a separate estimate, rather than an unexpected charge on the invoice.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in euros and include any applicable taxes. VAT is not applicable under article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (small-business VAT exemption): the displayed amount is what you pay, with no VAT added. Unless the estimate states otherwise, a 40% deposit is due when ordering and the balance is due on delivery. Online training is paid in full when ordered.
For business customers, late payment automatically incurs penalties at the French statutory interest rate plus ten percentage points and a fixed EUR 40 recovery charge (articles L.441-10 and D.441-5 of the French Commercial Code).
4. Timelines and collaboration
The stated timelines (a standard business website usually launches within 24 to 72 hours; custom projects take two to six weeks) start once the deposit and all required materials (text, photos and access details) have been received. The client warrants that they hold the rights to the materials they provide. A delay in providing materials postpones delivery accordingly, without penalties for DevDream.
5. Delivery, approval and support
The client approves the design and then the website before launch. Delivery is deemed accepted unless objections are raised within seven days. Three months of support after launch are included: corrections, adjustments and advice within the delivered scope. New work, such as additional pages or features, requires a separate estimate.
6. Ownership of the delivered website
The domain name and hosting are registered in the client's name from day one. Once payment is complete, ownership of the delivered website (code, design and content produced for the project) transfers to the client, with no royalties or mandatory subscription. If the client chooses to leave, they take their website with them.
7. Online training
Course access is personal and nontransferable. It is available for the lifetime of the platform ('lifetime access'), including updates.
If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from purchase (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code). By requesting immediate access to the content, you expressly waive this right once the content has been opened (article L.221-28). If you have any doubts, email me so we can find a reasonable solution.
8. Withdrawal for individual consumers
If you order as an individual rather than for business purposes, you have 14 days from accepting the estimate to withdraw without giving a reason (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code). Simply email contact@devdream.fr to make your request.
If you expressly ask me to start before that period ends, payment for work already completed remains due on a pro rata basis if you withdraw (article L.221-25). This right does not apply to business customers, who account for most projects.
9. Liability
DevDream undertakes an obligation of means under French law: to carry out the service with appropriate care, rather than guarantee a particular outcome. Its total liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service concerned. DevDream is not responsible for content supplied by the client, interruptions attributable to third-party hosting providers or registrars, or business and search ranking results that depend on external factors.
10. Mediation and governing law
If a disagreement arises, I start by discussing it with you; most issues can be resolved through a conversation. Under articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, consumer clients may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The mediator's contact details are provided on request by emailing contact@devdream.fr.
These terms are governed by French law. If no amicable agreement is reached, the courts with jurisdiction in Nanterre are competent for disputes between businesses.
